About
An imprint built by broadcasters, not by accident.
OBN Publishing is the book imprint of Oneway Broadcasting Network — a registered 501(c)(3) Christian television network with channels, apps on every major platform, and a direct audience it has spent years earning.
Why a television network started publishing books
Because the same problem kept appearing. Pastors, broadcasters and teachers across the OBN family had manuscripts in drawers — real ones, worth reading — and no honest route to publication. The routes they could find were either closed to them or expensive in ways nobody explained until it was too late.
Meanwhile the network already had the things a publisher spends its budget renting: an audience, a broadcast schedule, apps, a newsletter, a store, and a production pipeline that had already taken a manuscript through editing, typesetting, cover design and retail distribution end to end.
So the imprint was formed to do the obvious thing: publish those books properly, and put the network behind them.
What we are, exactly
OBN Publishing is a department of Oneway Broadcasting Network, not a separate company chasing separate money. That shapes what we do. We are not trying to publish everything; we are trying to publish well, at a pace a small imprint can honour.
Books are produced under the imprint's own publisher account, with ISBNs registered to OBN Publishing as publisher of record, and distributed through Amazon KDP, IngramSpark and Draft2Digital, alongside direct sales through OBN itself.
Editorial policy
Every manuscript is read against OBN's Statement of Faith and Creator Guidelines. Those documents govern what goes on the network, and a book carrying the network's name is held to the same standard.
In practice this means we read for two things. Is the book well made — argued, sourced, edited, worth a reader's evening? And can OBN stand behind what it finally says? A book can pass the first test and fail the second, and we will tell you so rather than publish something we would have to defend later.
